The past month and a half has seen a Christian revival in America. In the aftermath of the assassination of Christian martyr Charlie Kirk while he was on his 'The American Comeback' tour, Bible sales, Christian contemporary music, and church attendance have all skyrocketed. Charlie's memorial service kick-started a Christian unification in this nation, unlike anything seen since the influence of the Moral Majority through the Southern Baptist Convention and evangelical activism in the 1980s. Now, the young conservatives are at the forefront, leading the revitalization of the Christian faith and the spread of the gospel. This is the courage Charlie Kirk stood for and the goal of Christian conservatives everywhere.

Unfortunately, even proclaimed Christians like David French have portrayed this movement for God as an inherent evil that he opposed. French lambasted the movement in his editorial entitled, "Something Is Stirring in Christian America, and It's Making Me Nervous" for the failing New York Times. As a "Christian," French claimed that the activism, in both the church by conservatives and in conservatism by Christians, is not some Christian revival, but a "religious revolution" that is volatile instead of prosperous, and unnecessarily politicized. While demonizing the White House deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller and even Charlie himself, French painted the new Christian resurgence as a new "Red Scare," using fear-mongering, extremism, and hyperbole to whip up a revolutionary fervor in Christianity that is dangerous and nerve-wracking.

David French is the darling of every progressive, militant leftist. His weak faith has allowed secular leftism to run rampant in the United States, leading to the erosion of our culture, the abandonment of our Christian moral foundations, and the infiltration of our institutions by cultural Marxism disguised as tolerance and progress. This is a threat that should concern every Christian conservative.

French's distinction of "revival" and "revolution" illustrates how he uses false dichotomies to depoliticize faith and neuter Christians' involvement in politics through private piety. Secular leftism is the apparent threat to Christians around the country. Still, men like French continue to use the demonization of the America First movement and President Trump to justify allowing secular leftism to secure a reign over Americans in the United States, and a silent Christianity to be the dominant approach to the faith.

While transgenderism has been on the rise due to the lack of Christian morality in homes, an American Christian martyr in Charlie Kirk was assassinated in cold blood, illegal migrants murder young women, and ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is demonized by elected officials and hick lib country singers alike, David French is painting the conservatives Christians of this nation who want to ensure Christian morality is the dominant strucutre as the people who make him the most "nervous."

David French, mind you, is the same weak coward who agreed with the notion of "Never Trump. This time, Harris. Always Jesus." The same man who has advocated that the correct pro-life position is to vote for the woman, Vice President Kamala Harris, who believes in no limits on abortion. The ultimate submersion that French calls for is for Christians to adapt to the ways of the progressive world instead of standing up for the faith and in opposition to those who want to destroy it. Men like French are the exact reason why Christians in this nation continue to be under attack and targeted by violent leftists and by the mainstream media. Rather than stand up for God and for the Christian conservative principles that have shaped American culture, David French would rather have us lie down and be run over by the Godless evils that exist within progressivism and the Democratic Party.

The watered-down approach to faith that French is advocating for exists purely for self-indulgent tolerance and civility, so Christians can be patted on the back by the progressives who assassinated Charlie Kirk and wish death upon Christian conservatives behind closed doors and on social media sites.

Gallantry for the sake of complacency with the world that leftist progressivism has shaped into its image is not only wrong, but evil. Conservatism without Christ is futile. The America First movement, supported by people like Charlie Kirk, provides the moral foundation needed to ensure the United States survives on the principles it was created to uphold throughout time.

God's hands are guiding conservatives to reclaim America in his image, and this is what is causing David French to 'stir' in his nervousness. The bold proclamations of faith that Christian conservatives have been vocal about since Charlie's martyrdom are a resounding rejection of Godless progressivism. What we need now, more than ever, is courageous action from our nation's people to pave the way for restoration, and the America First mindset embodies this need.

David French should be nervous because his idea of Christian conservatism is dead and gone. Bold faith actors are here to stay, both in our conservative politics and social lives, and we are not going away.
