Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec stopped in London, England, over the weekend for a layover and took the time to troll UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer over censorship laws in the UK. This comes as there has been criticism from the Trump administration, particularly from Vice President JD Vance, about laws regarding hate speech in the UK.
Posobiec posted on X, "I have a long layover in London. Is it legal to post memes here?" making a jab at the UK government, which has previously arrested people over social media posts.
According to a recent report from The Times, police make around 30 arrests every day because of offensive online messages. The report detailed that thousands have been taken into custody over their social media posts that cause "annoyance" as well as "anxiety" to others over various communication methods. Posobiec, appearing to take issue with the laws as well as the UK's immigration policies, posted a Bible verse instead of a meme.
"Posting this in London. Surely I can’t get in trouble for just posting Bible verses," Posobiec said. The verse read from Deuteronomy 28:43, "The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower."
He then posted another Bible verse from Isaiah 1:7, "Your country lies in ruins, and your towns are burned. Foreigners plunder your fields before your eyes and destroy everything they see."
Posobiec commented with the second verse, "In London on a long layover. I know I can’t post memes here so I will just share some of my favorite Bible verses with Keir Starmer to pass the time we have together."
The political commentator, after posting the Bible verses, said, "Wait, now my boarding pass is suddenly not scanning and they’re telling me to go to document check," and then followed the post up with a sarcastic comment about hypothetical charges for posting the Bible verses, “What’s the charge? Posting a verse? A divine Scripture verse."
Posobiec later posted a verse from the Quran, which he said was the “#1 book in London.”
The verse read, “Men are the protec-tors and maintainers of women because Allah has made one of them excel over the other, and because they spend out of their possessions (to support them). Thus righteous women are obedient and guard the rights of men in their absence under Allah’s protection. As for women of whom you fear rebellion, admonish them, and remain apart from them in beds, and beat them. Then if they obey you, do not seek ways to harm them. Allah is Exalted, Great.”
To cap off the slew of posts, Posobiec said in a video that he was taking off from his layover, and added that the “British people have a right to their homeland," again taking a jab at the UK's policies surrounding immigration.
