“The Democrats are getting violent, you guys, and I think they’re getting violent because they’re so frustrated. "

Guest hosts Kevin Posobiec and Michelle Backus stepped in for regular host Jack Posobiec on Tuesday’s edition of Human Events Daily, while Posobiec travels to Europe with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

During the program, they aired a video of journalist Nick Sortor confronting Representative Maxine Waters and criticizing her stance on government transparency along with her wasteful use of taxpayer-funded vehicles.

In the video, Sortor directly confronted Waters, asking, “Why do you deserve a big black taxpayer-funded SUV? Is that why you’re so against DOGE? Is that what the problem is? What’s up with the lack of transparency? What’s the problem with transparency? Why are you pushing me?”

His questions came while concerns grow over politicians avoiding transparency while benefiting from taxpayer funds.

After showing the footage, co-host Michelle Backus weighed in: “The Democrats are getting violent, you guys, and I think they’re getting violent because they’re so frustrated. They don’t have a good argument to go against DOGE?”

Sortor did not hold back in his criticism of Waters, slamming the long time congresswoman: “Well, I mean, look, I know third graders that are more intelligent than Maxine Waters. She is right there in the running with Jasmine Crockett for the dumbest member of Congress. It’s a close race, it’s really tight.”

“They’re not used to being asked these questions. They’re not used to it… Keep in mind, the media, the ‘mainstream outlets’ that were there were more ticked off at me than they were at the fact that I was being assaulted. They were trying to steal my phone, trying to steal my AirPods right out of my ear and run off with it. I had to chase them down and get that back. They were more upset because I wouldn’t allow them to get in there and ask about, ‘Oh, what color nail polish are you wearing today?’” he joked.

"That’s what democrats are used to. That time is over. We are the media now, you, me, Kevin, Jack, Bannon, everybody on this network."
