JACK POSOBIEC: House Republicans need to attach the Save Act to the September government spending bill

Jack Posobiec pushed for the SAVE Act to be included in Congress' September spending bill on Tuesday's episode of Human Events Daily. He began the show by asking a simple question to his audience: Should illegal aliens be able to vote in any election in America?

He went on to describe how immigrants are essentially able to do so in many states at the moment due to the lack of identification checks and procedures that should be put in place to prevent them from voting. The solution, he stated, is to pass the SAVE Act, or the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, which would allow only eligible citizens to register to vote. All voters would need to show documentary proof of citizenship when they register. Additionally, it would require states to purge non-citizens from voter rolls and queue them for deportation.

"This is something that absolutely needs to be put into place, and not just the swing states - but certainly the swing states - in all 50 states," Posobiec said, also reporting that the act has already been passed in the House. "It also sounds like something that should be nonpartisan, and, more than anything else, should be something that all Republicans can get behind."

However, as he explained, the Democrats do not want this act to pass and Joe Biden has said he will veto it if it does. "So what do you do? Well, you got to use leverage. You got to use your God-given leverage and ability and action to be the forcing function. And the people of this country have been the forcing function and the people in this movement have been the forcing function."

Posobiec noted that to accomplish this, then Republicans in Congress need to attach the Save Act to the September 30 spending bill. "If they want the government to be funded, then government funding must include the Save Act, a nationwide citizenship verification for voting."
