JACK POSOBIEC and SENATOR MIKE LEE: Elect Trump to fix Biden's policies in Ukraine, government spending

Lee spoke on how the Biden administration has overspent and is playing with fire in regard to the war in Ukraine.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) sat down for a segment of Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec, where they talked about the dangers of an escalating war in Ukraine, as well as how Donald Trump is needed in office to end bad policies from the Biden administration.

When asked by Posobiec about the danger of the war in Ukraine, Lee talked about how Russia still remains a nuclear power and a threat to Americans, especially when the US is depleting stockpiles to send weaponry to the region.

Lee remarked about how all the funding and weaponry being sent to Ukraine means those in power in Ukraine "are seeing no reason at all to pursue peace."

"So, if they're not willing to do it, why would Russia want to do this," Lee added. "The other thing we frequently hear, Jack, is that, ‘Don't worry, this is this is gonna break Russia, this is gonna break them, we're going to degrade the Russian defense capabilities.’"

Lee remarked also about how that "appears not to be happening" in the war.

"What is happening is that we're depleting our own stockpiles of weapons systems that we need to defend our homeland should, heaven forbid, something happen here," he added.

Defending Taiwan with those weapons against the encroachment of China was also brought up as a concern.

Aside from the spending on Ukraine and the dangers of an escalating war with Russia, Lee spoke to Posobiec about how the Biden administration's policies are hurting Americans, and that it is time for a "regime change" in the US.

"Life is unaffordable for typical American families ... [They are] shilling out what, like an additional $1,300 a month, every single month, just for the same things they had had to buy all along." Lee commented. "But intuitively, they [Americans] understand that these things are connected. Government overspends on some things, fails to act on others.  The combined effect of them results in the cost of living just becoming ... a thing of the past in terms of affordability."

"At best, these policies are reckless. At worst, these policies are malicious and hateful. Either way, the American people have had enough of them, that the American people are ready for regime change," Lee added. "They're ready for the election of Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States."

Lee also called for the election of a Republican majority with "real Republicans, not Uniparty posers in both houses of Congress."
