The United Nations Division for Palestinian Rights' NGO Action News recently drew attention for promoting a list of “5 Ways to Take Action for Tax Day” that encouraged pro-Gaza activists to protest in the US.

The list included instructions for protestors seeking to prevent their tax dollars from funding what they described as "genocide" by Israel and advocate for a "free Palestine."

One of the suggested actions included participating in a "coordinated multi-city economic blockade to free Palestine."

According to Fox News, the blockade organizers referenced in the list describe their efforts to "identify and blockade major choke points in the economy, focusing on points of production and circulation with the aim of causing the most economic impact.”

Anne Bayefsky, president of Human Rights Voices and director of the Touro University Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust, criticized the UN for aiding pro-Hamas anarchists.

“The U.N. has been caught red-handed aiding and abetting pro-Hamas anarchists in American cities and streets" by "distributing a newsletter, in multiple languages and to a worldwide network, that contains links to radical anti-American and anti-Israel agitators, their agendas and plans,” she told Fox News.

The UN’s NGO Action News claims that the third-party links it suggests to readers are “not under the control of the United Nations and the United Nations is not responsible for the content of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site."

However, Bayefsky called this disclaimer “totally bogus,” claiming that it is UN staff who produce summaries of activist plans," and that "the inclusion of any announcement or link to a third party must receive prior approval from the UN."

As the recent conflict between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas continues, there have been numerous instances of activists in the US attempting to block traffic. Most recently, a group of protestors blocked the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, holding a sign that read “Stop the world for Gaza.”
