Iran's UN Counsel says attack on Israel in response to drone strike on embassy in Syria, urges US to 'STAY AWAY'

Iran's UN Counsel has stated that the drone attack on Israel is in retaliation to an airstrike that was reportedly launched by Israel on the Iranian Embassy in Damascus.

The UN Counsel posted its statement on the matter, "Conducted on the strength of Article 51 of the UN Charter pertaining to legitimate defense, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus."

"The matter can be deemed concluded. However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the U.S. MUST STAY AWAY!"

The counsel of the Iranian regime insisted that the matter can be "concluded" and that Israel should not make another "mistake" in attacking Iran. After the airstrike attacks on the Iranian Embassy, the country's government vowed revenge. Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated at the time, "The Zionist regime will be punished by the hands of our brave men. We will make it regret this crime and others it has committed."

Khamenei's political adviser Ali Shamkhani also stated in a post on X that the US "remains directly responsible whether or not it was aware of the intention to carry out this attack."

The Iranian government has also threatened to target US troops if the country gets involved in the war. One US official said, "The Iranian message was we will attack the forces that attack us, so don't f*ck with us and we won't f*ck with you."
