Last Friday, 56-year-old Samantha Norris pleaded guilty to possessing the images that were found in Norris' Ringwood, Hampshire flat, including 2000 still and 121 moving images that were of category A seriousness. One was an extreme porn image involving an animal. Some of them included children as young as 3 and others around age 6 in "distress and pain," per Daily Mail.
Southampton Court heard that Norris had written notes about sexual fantasies with a young child and had even written a "New Year's resolution to have sex with a girl under 10."
Norris had previously been cleared by a jury of exposing "her penis" to 2 girls aged 11 following a trial at the court in January. Norris argued that Norris would be "habitually naked" at home and accused the girls of "spying."
During sentencing, Judge Rowland told Norris: "It's all about you Samantha Norris and not the victims.
"You do not accept they are victims, you have distorted views and you do not feel your offending should be treated as serious - how would a right-minded person think about that?
"Your views are alarming and complex - you present a high risk of harm to children."
Rowland also placed Norris under a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years. He added: "It's pretty blatant to me that you decided not to enter guilty pleas (earlier) as these pleas would have gone in front of the jury of the other matters."
Norris worked at a Sue Ryder charity shop.
