British broadcaster and former Leader of the UK Independence Party Nigel Farage appeared live on Human Events Daily Tuesday ahead of a national prayer to take place at Mar-a-Lago for President Donald Trump.
Farage, or the "father of Brexit," as Posobiec called him, had just interviewed the former US president and noted that Trump remains "resilient" despite the fines, court cases, words taken out of context, and overall "abuse" from the Left.
"I don't know another human being who could put up with that level of level of abuse," he said. "And the use of the word bloodbath was clearly meant about economics gets totally misused by American-led global, mainstream media."
Farage continued: "And despite all that stuff he has to put up with he's, I would say, very focused, very determined. It was a pleasure to talk to him."
He said that topics discussed included the border, Prince Harry, and most importantly, NATO.
He reiterated that Trump "criticized NATO members, ever since he was first president. And he's dead right! Why should America carry all the costs for it and the Europeans effectively freeload off the back?"
In a speech last month, however, Trump made "off the cuff" remarks along the lines of, "if [NATO] doesn't pay 2 percent of their GDP, Russia can do what the hell they like," as Farage put it.
The globalists then ran with these comments and began saying that if Trump wins the presidency, then America would be out of NATO and an EU Defence Force would need to be built, something Farage called "the globalist dream."
But when the broadcaster questioned him in the interview and asked Trump if the US would still be a part of NATO if all of its member states have paid their fees and Poland were to be invaded, he responded "Yes, 100 percent."
"His comments are always willfully misinterpreted," Farage said to Posobiec. "So setting the record straight on that is going to be a very big story across the whole of Europe."
Posobiec then asked Farage, "Is there really anybody in Europe who thinks that things are better today than when Trump was in office?"
He responded that although the British press started out "completely against Trump" since 2015, "Now there is a general acceptance that actually the world was a bit safer when Trump was around."
Boris Johnson, he said, and even "some of the British newspapers have also now changed their tune on Trump. They've seen what a catastrophe Biden is."
He expanded: "And the fact is 100 years ago, we (Britain) were the dominant global superpower, we're not anymore. You are. And we, all of us need your leadership variant, probably now more than at any point since World War Two."
