EXCLUSIVE: Texas AG Ken Paxton declares 'moderates are on the run' after stunning America First victory on Super Tuesday

"The America First, Texas First movement is ascendant. It is dominant. Texas is acting more and more like Texas, and the moderates are on the run," Paxton told Kirk.

"The America First, Texas First movement is ascendant. It is dominant. Texas is acting more and more like Texas, and the moderates are on the run," Paxton told Kirk.

On Wednesday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) joined the Charlie Kirk Show to discuss the America First movement's stunning victory on Super Tuesday after Texas voters rejected RINO candidates in favor of America First Republicans.

The state's primary election results show that "moderates are on the run," according to Paxton, who explained that the days of the Bush administration controlling the Texas Republican Party are long gone.

Paxton, who has been the target of state Republican lawmakers and faced a failed impeachment trial, explained that the America First candidates who were put up against the main three RINO incumbents they had strategically targeted each won their races by an overwhelming margin. He explained that this was also a win against the Bushes and Karl Rove, who served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the George W. Bush administration.

"It was a huge election for us. We were trying to change the Texas House because for the last 15 years, the Democrats have block voted, gone to whatever Republican would give them the most, and then they control the Texas House," said Paxton.

"So, we were trying to take out the so-called Republican speaker along with many of his cohorts who are helping him with this strategy," explained Paxton.

Additionally, the Texas AG said that another one of their targets was removing the Republican incumbent from the court of criminal appeals. He explained that this appeals court had struck down his ability to prosecute voter fraud "which has an impact on the entire nation."

"If I can't prosecute voter fraud, we're going to lose the state in a matter of years," said Paxton. "So, we put three candidates up against the incumbents and it was a very good night for us. We overwhelmingly won those three races."

Paxton said that the victory was "unusual" because those incumbents have been in office between 12 and 30 years. He explained that 12 new America First candidates defeated incumbents on Tuesday night, which was a win against institutional money and the Bush Rove machine.

"The America First, Texas First movement is ascendant. It is dominant. Texas is acting more and more like Texas, and the moderates are on the run," Paxton told Kirk.

Among the most notable names among those incumbents is Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan who now faces an election run-off in May after coming in second place on Tuesday night. Phelan is most famously known for staging an infamous impeachment hearing against AG Paxton last year, but failed to oust Paxton.

Paxton has since emerged as one of America's most beloved attorney generals over his effort to defend Texas from Biden's open border policies, and reports indicate that Phelan's effort to oust Paxton was a big factor in his election night defeat.

David Covey, who had been endorsed both by Paxton and by presumed GOP nominee President Donald Trump, took 46 percent of the vote to Phelan's 43 percent.
