JACK POSOBIEC and KENNY CODY: Politicians running on anti-wokeism—like Glenn Youngkin—owe their careers to Trump

"You now owe that responsibility to not just Donald Trump, but to the voters that elected you and his America-first base."

Human Events columnist Kenny Cody joined Jack Posobiec on Human Events Daily Wednesday after Donald Trump overwhelmingly beat out Nikki Haley in the Super Tuesday primaries, making him the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for the 2024 election after Haley suspended her campaign.

While neocons such as Mitch McConnell have since then come forward to officially endorse Trump, other Republican officials such as Glenn Youngkin, the governor of Virginia, have remained silent, prompting Cody to remind viewers that they are in their positions now because of the former President.

Posobiec said that the fact Youngkin has not endorsed Trump yet "doesn't sit right" with him.

Cody agreed, adding that even Don Bacon, who is in his words is "the most RINO moderate congressmen that we have in the United States Senate that votes more along with Joe Biden" has made his endorsement.

Youngkin, Cody said, "won literally because of anti-wokeism cultural issues like in education and general cultural erosion. The only reason he won was that he wanted to give parents a voice in education in Virginia."

The message is not only for Glenn Youngkin, but for any Republican politician running on "cultural issues" who has not yet backed the former president: You owe your career to him.

"The reason that any of these politicians who are running on cultural issues, whether it comes to LGBTQ, whether it comes to just wokeist culture in general, cancellations of corporations or whatever, you are in office because of Donald Trump, you're not in there because of George Bush or anybody else," Cody stated.

He said that if any GOP politician has assumed a position in office in essentially the last 10 years, "you won because of the movement that Donald Trump created, and you now owe that responsibility to not just Donald Trump, but to the voters that elected you and his America-first base."

"They got you to where you are, whether you're making money and lining your pockets off of grifting of anti-woke culture or you are in elected office, you owe it now to rally behind Donald Trump to make sure he is the next president so you can continue fighting the culture and against cultural erosion," Cody said.
