ERICA KNIGHT: We need Trump because only Trump can hijack the establishment's narrative

Trump's communication genius showed the right how to break free from mainstream media narratives; we still need him as our leader for that reason.

Trump's communication genius showed the right how to break free from mainstream media narratives; we still need him as our leader for that reason.

Despite the challenges from big tech censorship, social media has created an unbelievably powerful pushback tool against the traditional media machine.

For decades, this media machine controlled the narrative. The elite decided how they wanted a situation to be perceived, fed it through their trusted pipeline, and most of the country went along with it. It was easy to tell us what to think.

And the right’s ability to combat endless fake news narratives was mastered - and built- by Donald Trump.

When Donald Trump came down the golden escalator in 2015, the new era of social media as a campaign tool was born.

It’s why the left’s extreme agenda is centered around censorship, cancellation, and trying to crush open discourse.

Donald Trump keeps showing us the way forward: question the status quo and take control of the narrative.

We saw it on full display during Russiagate: when the Clinton campaign laundered one false narrative after another through their unquestioning allies in the media. “Journalists” won Pulitzer Prizes for their coverage of a fake story. What they were not expecting was key America First voices like Kash Patel to come in, debunk the story, and fuel a patriotic revolt against the lies, now commonly known as the Russia hoax.

We are seeing this today as 50 Cent makes headlines for questioning President Biden’s beach vacation in the midst of a dozen different crises - including being on the brink of a third World War.

10 years ago, the left would have taken that photo and created a headline falsely praising his failed visit to Israel. Today, we the people can change the narrative and in turn, change the news.

This is the power of social media and influence. A small news outlet pushes back and shares an image that the left would have preferred to be buried. Their nightmare: we now have the power to amplify these stories and make our voices heard.

In the communications world, getting a story published is only step one - from there, if you are really good at your job, you have to keep going and make sure those stories are seen by the masses.

As was the case when working with Cory Mills to get my friend out of Israel, after the original story was written highlighting the failures of the Administration, it was taking that story and sharing it with 100 other journalists and influencers that caught the eye of the Congressman and led to his trip to rescue the American citizens left behind by the government.

In this situation, it was none other than 50 Cent who spun the news cycle. He dared to question the narrative, fight back and left nowhere for the leftist media machine to hide.

50 Cent dared to say what the rest of us were thinking, and the headlines changed.

Now on the other side, whoever is advising the President should be fired. Perception is everything, and while our world is in peril, do we really want Americans and the rest of the world to see the President of the United States taking a nap on the beach? Absolutely not.

Gone are the days of telling the world we are strong and them believing it. The failed public image of Joe Biden and his administration continually invites aggression for our adversaries that want nothing more than to fight for world dominance.

It’s no secret that our President is a cognitive wreck, but we cannot continue to portray weakness. Joe Biden is telling the world that the United States will enter World War III and be happy to take home a participation trophy.

Joe Biden is failing where the United States succeeded under Donald Trump.

Donald Trump made it clear to aggressors around the world that terrorism would not be tolerated. Peace through strength.

The world needs Donald Trump back in office more than ever.

And in 2024 it’s all on the line in every race up and down the ballot. We the people must continue to use the power of influence to challenge the status quo and create change. We must flip the script on the propaganda.

We must make sure that our voices are heard and Americans understand that the future of democracy is in dire danger.

It’s time to bring back leadership that the world respects.

It’s time to take our country back.
