Iran threatens to 'bury' Israel, US if IDF invades of Gaza in retaliation for Hamas attack

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened both Israel and the United States in a chilling warning on Thursday that stated they would "bury" the two countries if Israel undergoes a ground incursion in Gaza, according to ZeroHedge.

Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of Iran's elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), warned in a statement that "If the Zionists launch a ground attack in Gaza, they will be buried. If the enemies think that the Muslims will watch these crimes from the sidelines, they are gravely mistaken."

Salami also threatened the United States and said that America "will be buried by the fire they lit."

"If the evil people of the world want to carry out a foolish act such as invading the Palestinian territories, they will face a miserable failure and receive a decisive response from the resistance front," the statement added.

Iran's vocal threats come in response to the Israeli Defense Forces' military action in Gaza, which has allegedly killed more than one thousand Palestinians since Israel declared war on Hamas following the terror group's brutal massacre of Israeli civilians earlier this month.

US National Security spokesman John Kirby sent a stark warning to Iran earlier this week asserting that the United States stands ready to mount a "decisive response" if Iran or its proxies attack US military bases. Kirby's warning comes after dozens of US military servicemen were injured in drone and missile attacks on US military bases in Iraq and Syria within the past week. The US military also shot down three land attack cruise missiles and several drones that were launched by Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen last Thursday.

The missiles and drones were thwarted by the crew of the guided-missile destroyer USS Carney operating in the northern Red Sea.

In response to the attacks on the US military bases, the Department of Defense said during a press briefing last week that the United States will be "enhancing our fighter aircraft presence in the central command region to provide additional capabilities."

"By posturing these US naval assets and advanced fighter aircraft in the region, we aim to send a strong message intended to deter a wider conflict to bolster regional stability, and of course, to make it clear that we will protect and defend our national security interests."

Despite the US enhancing its military posture in the Middle East, recent reports indicate that Iraqi Sharia military groups have launched attacks on US military installations in northern Syria, according to the outlet. Politico reports that 19 US military servicemembers have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries stemming from the attacks last week.

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Hamas terrorists received specialized training in Iran before launching the terrorist attacks on Israel on Oct. 7, in which 500 Hamas terrorists were reportedly trained in Iran.

The outlet writes: "In the weeks leading up to Hamas's Oct. 7 attacks on Israel, hundreds of the Palestinian Islamist militant group's fighters received specialized combat training in Iran, according to people familiar with intelligence related to the assault. Roughly 500 militants from Hamas and an allied group, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, participated in the exercise in September, which were led by officers of the Quds Force, the foreign operations arm of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Gaurd Corps, the people said. Senior Palestinian officials and Iranian Brig. Gen. Esmail Qaani, the head of Quds Force, also attended, they said."
