Amid escalating fears surrounding a “Day of Jihad” being called for online for Friday, October 13th, Alex Stein warned against falling into the trap of “trauma-based mind control” on Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec Thursday.
Stein elaborated that trauma-based mind control is typically a tactic used by left-wing news outlets, such as CNN and MSNBC, where they attempt to keep their audience in a “low vibrational state“ so that they hear so much negative news that, even when positive stories are presented, they are still inherently traumatized.
“We’ve got to get out of that negative feedback loop but that’s the way they manipulate us,” he declared. “The most is through fear and you don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to understand that during the pandemic, that was the key in controlling all of us.“
He noted that “the government's best tool at controlling the population is scaring them into compliance.“
Posobiec agreed that the US’s current administration will most likely use the terror and atrocities taking place in the Middle East to advance their agenda as Americans have seen in recent history, adding that Joe Biden “is not the one making decisions up there.”
He repeated two predictions he’s held:
“Number one: Don’t think for a second that they wouldn’t cancel the 2024 election over an active armed conflict.”
“Number two: Don’t be surprised if, instead of the MAGA Gulag, [they] start drafting Trump supporters and then sending them over to fight in Iran.”
Stein pointed out that mass amounts of misinformation and fake or doctored footage being spread on social media platforms such as X, formerly known as Twitter, has desensitized people as well. When footage of video games and the like are thrown into the mix, it’s easy to assume that very little of what’s being posted is real.
On the other end of the spectrum, fake footage has been notoriously swaying some viewers’ opinions and beliefs within a second. Posobiec noted that, with the escalation of AI, it could soon become easy to deliberately create videos and images from nothing.
Stein elaborated that trauma-based mind control can be magnified by the influx of these doctored videos and the response from people when the content is exposed as such.
“It kind of has a rebounding effect,” he said. “So you know, it's a really weird day and age having modern warfare with Twitter and Instagram and social media.”
To drive home the point to viewers to be weary of manipulation online, he concluded that those in power will “use it to radicalize both sides” and “you’re not going to know who is dead.”
