BREAKING: Turning Point UK students & volunteers violently attacked at London Marxism Festival

Turning Point UK students and volunteers were brutally assaulted by a group of radical far-leftists on Saturday at London's Marxism Festival, which is an event hosted by the Socialist Workers Party of Great Britain.

The conservative student group set up a table at the SOAS University of London campus, where the festival was taking place, when they were attacked by a violent mob that took particular issue with Turning Point UK's anti-socialism posters.

"Fascist scum! Off our streets!" the radical pro-Marxists chanted, as members of the mob brutally attacked TPUK members.

Multiple videos posted to Twitter show chaotic scenes, which includes the violent mob physically assaulting TPUK members after destroying the group's activism table. One member was beaten to the ground by a pro-Marxist. The attacker kicked him in the head as he lay motionless on the ground, video shows.

"In what world is this ok? Booting someone in the face while they’re on the floor. This happened after violent thugs attacked us for asking them to debate why they are Marxists. The boy who was kicked is 18," Turning Point UK said on Twitter.

Other students and volunteers can be seen running away with Great Britain flag's as they tried to escape their attackers. While one member fled, he was cornered into a fence and was punched multiple times in the head and other areas of his body.

Turning Point UK was able to identify an alleged attacker who is revealed to be a middle-aged man named Dave Banks, according to his Facebook page.

"Thanks to @UnmaskedAntifa we’ve got him. @MetPoliceEvents arrest this thug," TPUK said on Twitter.

In a follow-up tweet that pictured the student's wounded head, TPUK wrote: "This man stamped on an 18-year-old’s head after he was knocked out on the floor. We need to find him so he can be locked up."

According to the Socialist Workers Party of Great Britain's website, Marxism 2023 "is a festival of socialist ideas taking place from Thursday 29 June to Sunday 2 July at SOAS University, London. It brings together meetings, speakers, debates, live music, a culture tent, film screenings, and more."

This is a developing story.
