According to the report, 54 percent of students said that they knew a classmate that has changed genders or plans to do so. The survey was conducted in the United Kingdom and polled 1,168 students between the ages of 16 and 18.
In addition, ten percent of students said that they have already changed their gender identity or would like to change it, according to the outlet.
The think-tank also surveyed 1,097 parents with school-aged children between the ages of 12 and 16, which revealed that 77 percent of parents want to have the legal rights to oversee sex education materials that are being taught in schools.
Nearly one-third of students said that educators have taught them that "women can have a penis", while 20 percent of students said that they have been taught that "men can get pregnant," the survey shows.
Concerned educators and members of the British Conservative Party slammed the results of the survey and said that children need to stop being used as "psychological and social experiments," Daily Mail reports
Tory MP Miriam Cates, a former teacher and member of the Commons education committee, said, "What is happening in our schools under the guise of sex education is a population level psychological and social experiment on our children. This cannot go on."
Jonathan Gullis, a fellow member of the Tory, gave caution about "woke agendas" being taught in schools and said, "This is extremely concerning, especially when there are still very harmful and woke materials in our schools that [are] pushing a certain agenda upon children and not allowing them to be children."
Director of Free Speech Union Toby Young called the results of the survey a "national scandal."
"This report reveals the extent to which Britain's schools have become woke madrasas. It's a national scandal that the Government needs to address," Young said, according to the outlet.
After members of the British Conservative Party spoke out against the reported indoctrination happening in UK schools, a Department of Education spokesman issued a statement indicating that they have seen the concerns.
"The Education Secretary is working with the minister for women to support schools in relation to children who are questioning their gender," the spokesman said. "This guidance will clarify schools' legal position and the importance of involving parents when making decisions relating to their child."
While this report was conducted in the United Kingdom, parents have been going to battle with their school boards across the Western world over the same issues surrounding sexual education for minors, specifically children being indoctrinated by their teachers with the "woke" gender-identity agenda.
