On Tuesday's episode of Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec discussed the news that GOP President-elect Donald Trump's would-be assassin, Ryan Wesley Routh, had been writing to prominent news outlets such as Politico from jail before the election in early November.

Posobiec said that one particular letter from Routh to the Palm Beach Post "did not include calls for violence. Instead, it predicted the end of democracy and the beginning of a civil war if Trump wins a second term. It warned that the Republican nominee will not let go of power if we all give it to him."

"This is a window into the workings of a mind that has been completely warped by mainstream media," the host said, noting that the deranged almost-murderer kept writing "we're fighting for democracy."

Routh even compared himself to Thomas Matthew Crooks in the letters, Trump's other would-be assassin who made an attempt on the President's life two months prior to Routh. Posobiec reported that Routh wrote that him and Crooks were "both as being ready to die for freedom and democracy."

However, neither Politico nor Palm Beach Post has released the full letters to the public, something that the host is "very upset" over and called on the outlets to "release these letters in full."

"Well, folks, Ryan Wesley Routh is going on trial here in just a couple of weeks, but we have to remember that there are thousands and thousands of more people still out there, many of whom are on Blue Sky...who believe the exact same as Ryan Wesley Routh," Posobiec concluded.
