A judge reportedly used the phrase “her penis” when giving a verdict in a case of a convicted sex offender who is a biological male but identifies as a woman. Kahdir Kamoun apparently exposed his penis to a 14-year-old boy at a shopping center in Bankstown, located in Sydney, on February 18, 2021. Kamoun was subsequently convicted of deliberately showing his genitals to a child under the age of 16, per the Daily Mail.
The details of Kamoun’s two-year jail sentence was published, which revealed that Judge Alister Adadee apparently used a slew of pronouns to describe Kamoun, including “she,” “her,” “he,” “him,” and “himself.” The judge then went on to use the phrase “her penis.”
The Daily Mail reported that 2GB breakfast host Ben Fordham blasted the written record of Judge Abadee’s verbiage when addressing the criminal, suggesting that the language used was “confusing.”
There are reportedly several instances where the judge alternates between gender pronouns, making it seem that he did not know how to address Kamoun. Kamoun is currently being incarcerated in an all-male prison.
Fordham said: “Get a load of this bit, and I quote… ‘The victim saw the offender’s pants partially down and her penis was exposed.’ Her penis?”
Fordham went on to say that “her penis” are generally not two words you see used together. The published report of the conviction also mentioned that Kamoun continued to “masturbate her exposed penis” during the attack.
Fordham noted that he had no problem respecting someone’s pronouns, but said that he “cannot understand why we need to suspend biological reality in an official judgment about a child sex offender.”
“The law is meant to be black and white, so when dealing with this sex offender, why did the NSW District Court create a puzzle with pronouns?”
However, this is not the first case of a judge using the term “her penis.” In Ohio, charges were dropped after a trans-identified woman was accused of flashing a group of girls in a YMCA locker room. The charges were dismissed after a judge agreed with the accused, saying that the biological man’s belly was too large to have made his genitalia visible to others in the locker room.
