Lo and behold, the Biden administration finally condemned some left-wing violence. But that’s about all.
The White House released a statement a day after an unknown lunatic lobbed a Molotov cocktail or two at the Wisconsin Family Action (WFA) office, a pro-life group.
"President [Joe] Biden strongly condemns this attack and political violence of any stripe. The President has made clear throughout his time in public life that Americans have the fundamental right to express themselves under the Constitution, whatever their point of view. But that expression must be peaceful and free of violence, vandalism, or attempts to intimidate," the White House said.
Yes, do try to behave. It’s all about how left-wing mob violence in the wake of the potential repeal of Roe v. Wade is much less concerning to Biden than opposition from Trump supporters.
"We need stronger leadership that makes it very clear that we don't just disagree with it. We are calling for it to stop right now," Wisconsin Family Action President Julaine Appling told Fox News Digital. "I understand the president used the word condemn. And, you know, is saying this is not what we think is appropriate, but there needs to be an overt call to stop it. And for him to say we're going to do what we need to do at the federal level to find these people and bring them to justice."
No outrage. No promise to bring the terrorists to justice. Nothing about how they pose a lethal threat to American security like President Biden imagines white supremacists do.
The President knows all about domestic terrorism. He tells you that all the time. His administration thinks parents who oppose Critical Race Theory are domestic terrorists. Just last week Biden said Trump supporters – or those people who belong to that “MAGA crowd” – are the most “extreme” people he’s ever encountered in American history. Biden can even make the transition from ISIS to white supremacy in the blink of an eye.
“Make no mistake – the terrorist threat has evolved beyond Afghanistan since 2001 and we will remain vigilant against threats to the United States, wherever they come from. Al Qaeda and ISIS are in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, and other places in Africa and the Middle East and beyond,” Biden said in a canned statement that he read in April 2021.
“And, we won’t ignore what our own intelligence agencies have determined – the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today is from white supremacist terrorism,” Biden added.
Biden was quick to see white supremacy in the Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax. Not doubting the story for a moment, Biden expounded on how this poor grandstanding, publicity-starved actor was a victim of two Trump supporters somehow wandering the streets of Chicago.
“What happened today to @JussieSmollett must never be tolerated in this country. We must stand up and demand that we no longer give this hate safe harbor; that homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you, Jussie,” Biden declared in a tweet that can still be found on his site.
But if you’re an angry Democrat seeking the hide of a conservative justice, you won’t hear Biden demanding that the streets should be safe for them. Instead, the White House has done absolutely nothing to discourage pro-abortion fanatics from going directly to the homes of these judges and making their streets a place of vitriol.
The leak of a draft judicial opinion to abolish Roe v. Wade and allow the states to decide the question of abortion has opened the doors for the left to justify just about anything.
And as usual, the Democrats have lied about the consequences of Roe v. Wade being abolished – if in fact it is abolished – in an attempt to unleash a fury of lawlessness and anarchy. Just as Democrats have lied about Florida’s law that prevents teachers from teaching children about sexual orientation and gender identity being about not being allowed to say “gay,” the Democrats have suggested that the end of Roe v. Wade will mean that abortion will automatically mean the end of legal abortion from Alaska to Hawaii and everywhere in between. And those Republicans also plan to resegregate the schools even though it was the Democratic Party that successfully upheld the Jim Crow laws for 70 years.
This leak should never have even occurred in the first place and the abortion activist responsible should have been caught and fired by now But no, the thief who leaked the draft opinion to Politico – clearly to advance a political agenda – remains at large. There has been no suspect announced.
Biden may condemn the firebombing of a pro-life office building but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is tickled pink that those nasty reactionary judges are being harassed by abortion activists high on their “righteous anger.”
"While we have seen and heard extraordinary anguish in our communities," Pelosi, D-Calif., said, "we have been moved by how so many have channeled their righteous anger into meaningful action: planning to march and mobilize to make their voices heard."
Can anyone please tell me what is possibly righteous about wanting to kill unborn children? You might think abortion is a sacred choice, you might believe it is a inviolate woman’s right, you might even want to believe it has something to do with health care but how on earth can you get enthused about suctioning out a fetus from the womb or even committing infanticide in some cases of late term abortion? It is not something that should stir anything remotely resembling righteous anger.
But Pelosi thinks she knows a political moment when she sees one and has vowed that the Democrats will "fight relentlessly to enshrine Roe v. Wade as the law of the land."
"Republicans have made clear that their goal will be to seek to criminalize abortion nationwide," Pelosi said. "Republican state legislators across the country are already advancing extreme new laws, seeking to arrest doctors for offering reproductive care, ban abortion entirely with no exceptions, and even charge women with murder who exercise their right to choose."
Is that all the Democrats can come up with as they proceed to the midterm hangings? You may not have a southern border, you might get mugged on your way to work or carjacked on your way home, you can expect the price of gas to keep escalating and the cost of bread to continue to rise, but we’ll be fighting to ensure that you can still get an abortion in Alabama. The Democrats are all class with a capital K.
But if you think abortion is going to save the Democrats from a mauling in November, think again. Despite their misbegotten belief that all women are fervent defenders of abortion and their hopeful declaration that a groundswell of pro-choice voters will create a Democratic avalanche at the polls, most people are not single-issue voters and there the Democrats just have too many issues lined up against them. Abortion is not going to save them.
Besides isn’t it the Democrats who are always saying that the laws should reflect the times in which we live? It isn’t 1973 anymore and it is time to acknowledge that Roe v. Wade was a flawed decision that created even more flawed and undemocratic policy. Science is increasingly confirming that life begins at conception and abortion is a brutal procedure that – at the very least – should not be publicly funded nor used cavalierly as birth control.
And the end of Roe v. Wade should never be used as another excuse for Democrats behaving badly. They’ve trashed enough businesses, ruined enough cities and exhibited enough hypocrisy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to leave a shameless legacy that generations to come can view with both contempt and caution.
The biggest hypocrite of them all of course is Joe Biden, the smorgasbord Catholic who picks and chooses his religious doctrine and has taken more positions on moral and political issues over the years than Baskin-Robbins has ice cream flavors. While the abortion activists are on the march, he’ll be looking under the woke beds for white supremacists – when he isn’t worried about those phantom LGBTQ kids not being allowed to go to school.
