If you needed more proof that the media serves as an arm of the government, the Department of Health and Human Services paid hundreds of media outlets to advertise COVID-19 vaccines.

Responding to a FOIA request filed by The Blaze, HHS revealed that it had purchased advertising from major outlets including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Post, the L.A. Times, the Washington Post, BuzFeed News and NewsMax, in addition to hundreds of local TV stations and newspapers, Just the News reports

The outlets provided mostly positive coverage of the vaccines’ safety and efficacy.

Indeed, the Biden administration paid for advertisements on hundreds of news platforms as part of its “COVID-19 Public Education Campaign,” a “comprehensive media campaign” designed to “educate people about the importance of vaccination and basic prevention measures to prevent COVID-19 and protect public health,” per The Blaze

Some outlets aired HHS commercials with celebrities promoting the vaccines to really grab people's attention, while others covered “fear-based vaccine ads” from patients who survived the virus.
