A Minneapolis jury on Thursday found ex-Minneapolis police officer Kim Potter guilty of manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright.

If you aren’t familiar with the story, Potter said she meant to use her taser last April on Wright instead of her gun.

Court spokesman Nik Nadeau said he did not know whether the notice of a “trial outcome” published on a state court website meant that verdicts had been reached, per Just the News

During the jury’s second day of deliberations, jurors asked Judge Regina Chu how to proceed if they were having difficulty coming to an agreement, and she instructed them to keep talking.

The outcome will be read between 1:30 and 2 p.m. central time

Potter is charged with first- and second-degree manslaughter and faces a maximum sentence of about seven years under state guidelines, but prosecutors plan to seek more.
