Governor Abbott of Texas has been working hard to fight crime, child trafficking and the overwhelming amount of people crossing the border; all of which directly impact the people of his state. As we hit 90 days since Vice President Kamala Harris was named Border Czar, we have seen zero improvements in the ongoing crisis. In fact today Harris flew to Pittsburgh, PA to discuss...you guessed it, not immigration.

Harris visited swing state Pennsylvania to plug the recent expansion of child tax credits and to promote union membership as part of the roughly half-dozen other assignments vying for her attention amid a migrant surge that set a 21-year record with over 170,000 crossings a month.

That’s right as illegal migrant crossings surge to new levels, human smugglers and cartel murders triple, our Vice President poses on the tarmac:

Governors Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott have now resorted to building their own border wall to protect the American people. The project will be funded by the state of Texas and receive security support from the state of Florida.

For some in Congress, the wait is long enough, with 56 GOP Congressional members demanding that Harris be removed as the Border Czar.

“Despite being in the midst of a border crisis this country has not seen in two decades, Vice President Harris has not yet shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand,” wrote Wisconsin Republican Glenn Grothman in a letter to Biden signed by 56 House lawmakers.

During Harris’ trip to Mexico and Guatemala, she informed the people of those countries not to come to America. Of course, this position is a little late, considering Biden told migrants just the opposite when he was running for office. Remember this exchange in 2019, during a debate hosted by Jorge Ramos:

During a 2019 Democratic presidential primary debate, President Biden said that the United States is a country that tells people struggling under oppression or poor conditions, "You should come," as he argued for a more open asylum policy.

"They deserve to be heard. That's who we are," Biden said of those applying for asylum in a 2019 debate moderated by Univision's Jorge Ramos. "We're a nation that says, 'You want to flee, and you're fleeing oppression, you should come.'"

Now Harris and Biden have flip-flopped, and the people of Guatemala and Mexico, and other Central American locations are arriving in droves at the border. We have the highest number of illegal border crossings, since 2005. If you ask them why they are coming, they will tell you one word, Biden.

Despite all of this information, Harris and her team have done nothing. Children that arrive alone, sometimes as young as four and five years old, all because of the messaging from Biden and Harris. Others die in sweltering heat while being smuggled in trucks or perish along the journey, left for dead as the pack carries on towards the United States. And now the White House claims that Harris’ role is strictly a diplomatic one. Well, that will certainly save a lot of lives.
