In a new ad released by his campaign, Texas Gov. Rick Perry tells viewers that he will ditch political correctness to boldly make stands on critical issues.

Perry explains that Washington is not only the capitol of the country, but the “capitol of political correctness.” He pointed out specifically that politicians becoming lobbyists is a form of legal corruption, and that America gives foreign aid to enemy countries.

Perry also stated that “Washington insiders are bankrupting Social Security.” While this statement might be less politically correct than what most other politicians would say, it is still a ways off from calling Social Security a “Ponzi Scheme,” which Perry did in a debate. So while not necessarily politically correct, he has still toned down his rhetoric on Social Security just a bit.
