In a newly released ad titled, “Big Dog,” released by the Rep. Ron Paul presidential campaign in New Hampshire and Iowa, the Texan demonstrates his limited government bona fides.

Paul is represented as a snarling Rottweiler next to the rest of the Republican “shih tzus”. It is clearly trying to demonstrate that on budget reductions and cuts into the massive federal bureaucracy, Paul takes a dramatically stronger position. He advocates eliminating five executive departments: The Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Housing, the Department of Education, and the Department of Energy.

With all the proposed cuts, Paul claims to be able to cut about a trillion dollars out of the federal budget.
