Yours truly spent a wonderful week in Las Vegas and felt that the best thing to give my listeners (not my winnings!) when I got back was two awesome interviews. Family Events editor and author of Don't Let the Kids Drink the Kool-Aid: Confronting the Left's Assault on Our Families, Faith, and Freedom Marybeth Hicks sat down with me to talk about her new book. This book is quite an eye-opening assessment of how the younger generation of Americans is being brainwashed by our schools and our media in to thinking that socialism is cool, that we all need to be global citizens and that American traditional values have gone the way of the dodo. If you haven't picked the book up, you certainly won't be disappointed. Fair warning, the book will make you get up out of your chair and do something about it, and that's a good thing, in my opinion.
My second interview is with The American Spectator contributor and former Reagan political director Jeffrey Lord. Jeffrey wrote a spectacular piece in the Spectator regarding Ron Paul and his effect on modern conservatism. Lord argues that Paul's 'conservative' influences are not truly conservative, or what the Reagans and Buckleys of the world thought conservatism should be. It's a thoroughly good read and we dissect the piece. If you are a student of modern conservative thought, it's a can't miss sit down.
Hope you enjoy both of these interviews!
