Another Shocking YouTube Moment from Rep. Pete Stark

He thinks the "federal government can do most anything in this country."

Remember these golden words from Rep. Pete Stark (D-Calif.) a few months ago at a town hall that Steve Kemp of the Golden Gate Minutemen recorded?  Stark says, “Our borders are quite secure,” and mocks the minutemen with jokes about them wanting to shoot people while they try to ask questions about what’s going to happen on border security.

“This is a very serious matter, and you’re sitting there making fun of it,” someone says on the video.

“I don’t have to make fun of you…you do a fine job all by yourself,” Stark said.

Now, through another Golden Gate Minutemen video, Stark is on record at a July town hall saying that “the federal government, yes, can do most anything in this country.” One of his constituents then tries to explain to him the limits the Constitution places on the federal government.
