The HUMAN EVENTS caption contest is your chance to win $50 for the wittiest phrase. With over 100 submissions, it was hard to nail the most fitting caption, but the one submitted by David McGinley of McLean, Virginia stood out to each of our six judges.

McGinley's caption: "Sigh! Maybe I just should have stayed home and baked more cookies."

McGinley and each weekly winner's name will be printed in the HUMAN EVENTS print edition as well.

Look for the next caption contest this Monday and send your best captions to [email protected] before noon on Thursday.

Note: We've received reader feedback on how to improve the Caption Contest. We are working on implementing these changes, and we'll keep you updated!
