A new Siena poll finds Hillary cruising to re-election, not surprisingly.
She has a 25 point lead over conservative Republican John Spencer, 58 to 33 percent, and a 28 point lead over the liberal Republican Kathleen "K.T." McFarland, 59 to 31 percent.
The in-depth poll shows that Mrs. Clinton's favorability numbers have been consistently high in New York for at least the past year or so, with her highest positive rating being 61 percent (2/2005) and her lowest 55 percent (3/2006). Hillary's unfavorable numbers are still substantial (36 percent), considering it is New York, a very liberal state.
