Just days after Iran bragged that it has enriched uranium, the unhinged Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave a speech today in which he "called Israel a 'rotten, dried tree' that will be annihilated by 'one storm.'"
Desperate for a positive spin to the story, the left-wing Israeli daily Haaretz comments that the speech was "slightly more moderate" than Ahmadinejad's previous comments on Israel.
Reminds me of the kid who gets a box a box of manure for Christmas and enthusiastically digs through it, exclaiming, "This is great! There's gotta be a pony in here somewhere."
