A blogger for NewsBusters.org picked up on some "eye-opening remarks" made by Bryant Gumbel on the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy during the most recent episode of his HBO sports show.
Apparently Gumbel decided to abandon "Real Sports" talk for a moment to take a political stab at the Republican Party:
"So try not to laugh when someone says these are the world’s greatest athletes, despite a paucity of blacks that makes the Winter Games look like a GOP convention."
