KANGMIN LEE to JACK POSOBIEC: It is a 'desecration' of C.S. Lewis' works to 'blaspheme Jesus Christ' with latest Netflix adaptation

"They don't do this with Muhammad. They don't do this with Vishnu. They don't do this with any other religion."

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec sounded off about the forthcoming Netflix adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ The Magician’s Nephew, part of The Chronicles of Narnia, in Thursday’s edition of the show, coming after it was revealed that Aslan would be rainbow-colored.

Posobiec spoke about his love for the series and how he has been able to share it with his children, and how as soon as he heard Netflix was going to make an adaptation directed by Greta Gerwig, who had made “the most anti-male movie of all time up to that point,” Barbie, “I said this is going to be awful.”

“But now, ladies and gentlemen, and wait till you see it, Netflix has shown us. Rainbow Aslan. Rainbow Aslan is the Aslan that they are providing for us. No, we didn't add anything here, folks. This is exactly what was revealed today by Netflix and exclusive to Empire Magazine. They are taking Aslan, which is an allegory, of course, for Jesus Christ. He is now going to be voiced by Meryl Streep, and is going to be colored in rainbow fur.”

He later said this was part of the “unhumans strategy.” He said, “Now understand why they're doing this. It's very clear. The unhuman strategy is to destroy, subvert, and control all Christian symbols. And Aslan has been a Christian allegory, released in the 1950s, that has converted, and upheld, and been a beacon of light for so many children throughout our society and our civilization, for decades, generations at this point.”

“Christian symbols have power. That's why they go after the Christian symbols like Aslan.”

Posobiec brought on commentator Kangmin Lee, who noted that Lewis intended for Aslan to be a supposition of Jesus Christ. “He wanted him to be the literal incarnation of the Son of God in the world of Narnia, and he would do as Jesus does and continues to do on our earth and in our realm per se.”

“And so when you think about the original intent of Aslan to be Jesus Christ, not just an allegory, but a supposal. He's supposed to be the literal Christ in the world of Narnia. You know that what they're doing with Narnia, with Aslan, making him Rainbow and Meryl Streep voicing him to be a woman.”

“It's not just demoralization for us as Americans and people who love our Western myths and legends and stories. It is a bastardization and the desecration of Lewis's work to blaspheme Jesus Christ. They don't do this with Muhammad. They don't do this with Vishnu. They don't do this with any other religion. They do it with Christianity because they know deep down that Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords."
