Posobiec opened the conversation by referencing Elon Musk’s recent comments on Joe Rogan, arguing that the border crisis is part of a broader political strategy. “The reason that the shutdown is going on,” he said, “is because the Democrats want to increase and continue these mass immigration programs because that’s how they’re importing new voters to try to turn the United States into a one-party state.”
He pointed to New York City as a prime example of how migration has reshaped the electorate. “When you look at New York City and the way they’ve changed the electorate since 9/11 — the people voting today weren’t even around to remember it,” Posobiec said. “Zohran Mamdani wasn’t even a US citizen when Donald Trump was elected the first time.”
He said what he called the “Mamdani model” has already been used in cities like Minneapolis and Dearborn, Michigan — areas that have seen sharp demographic shifts. “When you import enough people from countries that don’t believe in our history or share our values,” Posobiec said, “they can elect one of their own and immediately start targeting whoever it is they’ve decided to take from.”
Lyman agreed, saying the Founding Fathers had warned about the dangers of importing populations that lack experience with liberty or self-government. She cited Alexander Hamilton’s letter to Lafayette, noting his observation that not every people are capable of self-rule. “When you import enough people from countries who do not have a republic, they vote that into place here,” she said.
Lyman also referenced Axios reporting, which found that Republicans plan to make Mamdani the face of their 2026 campaign, but warned that approach misses the real issue. “Axios had polling showing he had 81 percent name recognition and a net negative favorability,” she said. “Yet he still has the math to win in New York, which means we are importing voters and changing the electorate.”
Posobiec concluded that what’s happening isn’t an accident. “From the Democrat perspective, this is strategy,” he said. “It’s not a glitch or an aberration — it’s the culmination of a long-term plan.”
