Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec used his Wednesday monologue to praise the meeting between President Donald Trump and Polish President Karol Nawrocki, calling it a moment of unity in the fight “for Western civilization.”

“The president of Poland sitting down now in the Oval Office, they've just actually, a few moments before we went to air, finished up that meeting,” Posobiec said. “They had this huge press conference and you really saw this incredible time where a patriot of Poland and a patriot of the United States were able to stand together, shoulder to shoulder, in the fight for Western civilization, against the forces of globalism, against the forces of tyranny, against the forces of communism. This is what it's all about.”

Talking about his time covering the Polish elections, Posobiec talked about Nawrocki’s big upset victory and inauguration. “This is a real sign of what a true country can be like when it puts its people, when it puts its nation, when it puts its history, its culture, and its borders first. It's really as simple as that, folks,” he said.

He argued that nations should prioritize their citizens over mass migration, which has plagued much of Western Europe and the developed world. “You don't need infinite migrants being sent in from other countries, from the third world. No, we don't need any of this. What we need is investment in our own people, investment in our own culture, in our own heritage, and a love of our country, which begins with the love and support and protection of our national flag," said Posobiec.

Describing the inauguration in Poland, Posobiec said, “The entire inauguration was centered around these incredible symbols of the Polish people. And as I sat there watching those, and you see the passing of the military flag, went from the previous president to the new president, I said, this is how it should be.”

He continued: “When you hold your nation itself as something sacred, which it is, which it absolutely is, because our nations are given to us by God. Then you can understand the defense of them is paramount. It is not some economic zone that is meant to be for the betterment of the GDP or whatever the bean counters want to tell you.

"No, it is meant for the betterment of the people, and it is meant for the safety and security and the enjoyment and, in fact, the pleasure of those people that live inside those nations.”

Posobiec stressed that sovereignty belongs to citizens alone: “Whether or not we choose to allow people the honor and distinct privilege of coming into those nations, that is a choice to be made by the American people and no one else. No corrupt multinational interests, no corrupt international fraudsters and swindlers and scammers. No, no. It is a decision that is meant for the people and held by the people, because the nation is theirs. It does not belong to anyone else.”

Looking back to Poland’s rich history, he said: “Poland, a country that's faced so much persecution, that was wiped off the map for over a hundred years, that phased down the onslaught of communist oppression and was still able to come out from all of that successfully because they, even during the time when Poland itself was wiped off the map, didn't even exist, carved up by empires. What did they do? They held on to themselves. They held on to their people, they held on to their values, they held on to their culture and they never, ever surrendered.”

Posobiec closed with a warning and a pledge: “No country that ever surrenders is going to continue. Well, you know what? Poland never surrendered and neither will the United States of America.”
