Jack Posobiec released part 4 of his Human Events Daily series, "The Chronicles of the Christians,” with Tuesday's episode focusing on the history of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. Posobiec was joined by his brother and architecture aficionado Kevin, who detailed historic carvings on beams in the rafters of the Cathedral.

Kevin explained that while many might question why anyone would put designs in that specific place that can barely be seen, "The carvers would say, like, 'well, even if anybody else doesn't see it, God still sees it. God still hears my prayers.'"

"When I think about the construction of Notre Dame," Posobiec said, "these were people who very seriously believed in God. They very seriously believed in their faith. They believed in Christ, and they believed they were making these great works for the glorification of God."

The host explained that they made the Cathedral with high vaulted ceilings in the first place because it makes visitors instantly look up towards God when they walk in.

The Cathedral took years to build and was the work of "multi-generational construction," which Kevin explained consisted of a series of bishops overseeing the project and a series of architects building the Cathedral itself. The project consumed each of these architects' lifetimes, a fact that is rarely thought about and which Kevin commended as "amazing."
