A new documentary has come out tracking the lead up to and in the immediate aftermath of OnlyFans star Lily Phillips' undertaking of having sex with 100 men in one day. The documentary, released on YouTube by Josh Pieters, is somewhat mesmerizing as Pieters channels all of us in the audience by being a combination of uncomfortable, gobsmacked, shocked, disgusted, fearful for Phillips, and unable to look away. While the issues one could have with a story like this are obvious, what was most compelling and horrific to me was Phillip's insatiable desire to please.
She doesn't seem at all like a victim, she's clearly brought all this on herself, but while she talks about empowement and buying sexy lingerie on her business account, there's the undeniable reality of human sexuality that even her most craven, willful acts can't erase: the want to be special to the person you're having sex with and the feminine wish to serve her mate. Phillips, however, knows that she's kind of disgusting.
As the big day approached, she said of the men who had signed on to bed her one after another: "I guess the only thing I'm nervous for is like for them to have a good time, I want to make sure they enjoy themselves and don't come away from it like 'oh I feel disgusted, or that wasn't fun.'"
Wanting to please is a traditionally feminine trait and in the case of Phillips, who claims to be a feminist and to be "empowered" by what she does, it is reflected entirely the wrong way. She claims to love sex and to enjoy it but there can be nothing enjoyable about taking man after man to your bed for hours upon hours only to go to sleep alone. "I actually wanted to wait until marriage at one point," she said. "I just used to think it was a real special thing. As soon as I did it I realized it wasn't special and also that I just really loved it and really enjoyed it and wanted to do it way more."
What she doesn't realize is that nothing is special if you don't make it special—not sex, motherhood, love. She imagined there was some kind of inherent specialness to the basic act of sex that she could access by engaging in it without being aware that this specialness is about love, caring, commitment, and non-monetary value placed by man and woman on each other.
With long blonde hair, a slim build, and a kind, if overly earnest smile, Phillips is the star of "I Slept With 100 Men in One Day," and that day was in October 2024 in an AirBNB in an affluent English suburb. Men came from all over to have five minutes in bed with Phillips, and while she filmed each of them, she was accepting of those who didn't want their faces seen on camera and just filmed the action of their bodies intersecting. It seemed only natural to her that they wouldn't want their faces to be seen, that these men were willing to bang her but would never publicly admit to it.
Her face is everywhere. Her parents know what she does to earn a living. Phillips is the star of her OnlyFans site where she dos all manner of things on camera for her subscribers, some of who have identified themselves to her as former classmates of friends of her father. None of those men are on the record either. When she was asked by Pieters if she would kiss any of the 100 men, she said "definitely," before noting that "I feel like some of them would be a bit put off especially when they know I've just had like 57 guys inside me or whatever."
Again, it appears that her understanding of herself is that she is disgusting, that there would be reasons for the men to not want her, that it is her job to make herself more accessible, more desirable, to give more of herself while expecting little to nothing of these men who, for five minutes at a time, thrust themselves into her body.
When asked why she thought that would put the men off kissing her, she said that it because there would be the semen of other men on her face. "I can imagine that's what's put another guy off."
"You would let these guys do that on your face," Pieters asked.
"Yeah, yeah," she said.
"And in your mouth?"
"Yeah. Yeah, yeah."
"What if they had HIV?" He asked.
"Is that where it comes from," she asked. "Spunk in the mouth."
"It can."
"Oh really. See I've never really thought about that. Last time when I did it all of them could spunk in my mouth," she said.
She revealed to Pieters that there are some things she has refused to do, such as putting a garbage bag over her head and pretending to be unable to breath, but admitted that she would do it for $1 million. In talking to Pieters, she seems to ingratiate herself to him, to understand and accept his view of her, and to try to make that view more positive.
"People think I'm so sad and stuff like that but it couldn't be further from the truth, I don't think people realize like, how happy this makes me," she said. In anticipation of the day, she took Pieters on a trip to a lingerie store, saying that some of the men were coming a great distance and she didn't want to be a "hag." She wanted to wear something special for them. What she doesn't dare admit is that she wants to be special to them but there's no universe in which she will be.
Pieters is not judgmental, though it's clear he's not into Phillips' undertaking. Most of his narration is spoken with concern for Phillips, that she doesn't quite know what she's getting into, that perhaps her plan to bang 100 guys in just one day could be harder on her both physically and emotionally than she's prepared for. And he's right. When it's all over, she finds herself in tears, she says it's more intense than she thought it would be. One of her biggest concerns in those moments is that the men she serviced might not have had a good time.
She employs 9 people with the money she makes from engaging in sex acts on camera and those include her sister, who has filmed many of her scenes with men that are shown on her OnlyFans. It occurred to me while watching that someday she may wish she hadn't spent so much of the money she earns on her back providing for others. Her parents know about this whole thing and she says they are supportive.
She even talks to her mother every day, though she said "My parents know what I do but I'm not on the phone to them every day going 'oh y'know, I just got DPed, I'm [doing] 17 guys today' or this and that, they don't need to know the logistics. I do feel a little like embarrassed being like 'mum and dad I'm [doing] a 100 guys." She said she knows it's not really what her parents would have wanted her to do and that they love her no matter what, but said "I just don't want them to think less of me."
When it was over, her eyes burned from all the cum that got in them. She had told the men to not cum in her eyes but they did anyway. She said she thought it was probably an accident. More likely, these men wanted to take from her one thing she was not so free to give away.
Pieters headed back to the AirBNB when it was over. He spoke with a woman who he identified as "the brains behind all of this." She kibbitzed with Pieters about talking to the men waiting their turn, chain smoking, and of Phillips, said "She's took it like a champ, she's done so well."
Phillips emerged from the bedroom, wearing a matching tank top and shorts. She brought Pieters and his cameraman into the bedroom where the floor was littered with condom wrappers and smelled so badly of sex that the camerman gagged on it. She was embarrassed, covered her mouth, she didn’t want it to be disgusting.
She explained "the process" she'd gone through literally 100 times, and the crux of it was to ingratiate herself to the strange men, to make sure they were comfortable, to ease them into it.
"Come on in, make yourself at home," she would tell them, "take your shoes off, I've got some hangers here if you want to put your coat up," she said, opening a closet. She would ask them where they were traveling from, say "oh that's lovely," say "oh it's so nice to meet you." She would instruct them to lay on the bed, "take off your trousers, and we're gonna have a fun time." Then, to please them, she'd ask them what they wanted, if there was anything they liked or didn't like, if there were specific positions they wanted to do. "And then yeah we kind of got straight into it."
"It's not for the weak girls," she said, "it was hard. I don't know if I'd recommend it." It made her feel like a prostitute having "one in one out." It was "intense," she said, more intense than she realized, and she broke down in tears and turned away from the camera.
When she came back to discuss it, tears came again when she said "the interactions went like, I'd have to stop them early and like, you'd have to stand on business and be like 'I'm so sorry you've got to go,' and do the awkward interaction of like you feeling pressure to have to make them cum if you haven't spent enough time with them and feeling like you didn't give them a good time 'cause like they only got two minutes."
Some of the men, she said "guilt tripped" her a "little bit" for more time, to make them "finish," but she was married to the schedule, needing to screw them all before the time period had elapsed. She didn't want them to come away from the experience thinking badly of her or having not enjoyed the experience of bedding her for five minutes.
"I think sometimes like feeling so like robotic, like by the, I think like the 30th, y'know like, when we're getting on a bit, I've got like a routine of like how we're gonna do this and like it just sometimes you'd like disassociate and like be like, y'know like, it's not like normal sex at all."
Phillips clearly felt used and discarded after her day-long escapade. She didn't feel special. She didn't feel that she'd given the men what they'd come for. She tried to give a piece of herself to each of the 100 and was left crying on a rented couch with a documentary filmmaker who obviously pitied her and nine employees she would have to pay out for aiding in the sale of her body and soul.
Phillips wants to be someone's girl and in the absence of that she'll be everyone's. She wants to be special to everyone and so she is special and truly loved by no one. She may believe her lies but they are transparent. She's planned to multiply the 100 by 10 and romp with 1000 in February.
