JACK POSOBIEC and RICH BARIS: Trump is now favored to handle 'threats to democracy'

It's now "about the weaponization of the Justice Department and also great skepticism over whether or not J6 was overblown or even a setup, Jack."

Jack Posobiec hosted Richard Baris, "The People's Pundit," on Human Events Daily Thursday to discuss the breaking news that 26 FBI sources "dressed as Trump supporters" were in the crowd and even entered the Capitol on January 6.

Baris explained, per his polling, how in 2020, Democrats had a strong advantage with the issue of protecting the United States from "threats to democracy," however sometime after 2022, the left "lost control of that narrative" and GOP President-elect Donald Trump held the favor for the issue.

"It then became about the weaponization of the Justice Department and also great skepticism over whether or not J6 was overblown or even a setup, Jack," he said.

He reported that, unusually, his pollster team found out that Americans were privy to this new outlook before the 2024 presidential election in November when typically they find out what issues have swayed voters after elections.

Posobiec pointed out that the report about the FBI officials has just come out, and said sarcastically "There's no possible way that this IG report could have come out before the election so that the American people would have had this information on the day they voted. No, no, no, no. We had to have that come out after the election."

Of the report, Baris said that the fact that undercover officials were a part of the J6 crowd "was very obvious to those of us who have been to the Capitol," adding, "I mean, this is not exactly a building a group of protesters could like storm and get through easily. There was always something awry there."
