On Thursday's episode of Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec spoke on the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and the response from left-wingers celebrating his death, particularly on the social media site Bluesky.
Posobiec reminded his audience that the hotel Thompson was staying at, the Midtown Hilton in New York City, was where President-elect Donald Trump gave his victory speech in 2016. He also revealed that he has stayed there multiple times.
The former Navy Intelligence officer said that it was clear to him that the assassin was not a "professional shooter," as he left shell casings at the scene and was caught on camera and by witnesses. However, he said, it was later revealed that he left the shell casings, which had "Deny, Defend, Depose" inscribed on them.
"So this was clearly being done to send some kind of message which appeared to me potentially to be either a personal or political, or perhaps a mixture of the two, type of situation," he said.
"Well, boys and girls, if you go over to X right now, or particularly to Bluesky, you can find all sorts of posts and tweets celebrating what this individual, this heinous individual, did, commiting a cold-blooded murder of a businessman who's married and has two children on the street," Posobiec said. "They're saying we need to kill more CEOs. They're saying we need to go after Elon Musk next. Again and again. This is actual retributive violence that they have against their perceived enemies"
He said that this rhetoric is "very similar" to what he predicted the left to do, which is to"start rising up and killing people in the street and celebrating it."
"And so we explained that these grievance revenge fantasies are something that the far left absolutely engages in," he stated, adding that the left is "celebrating."
"And let me tell you something, folks, this is what they do, and this is what we told you that they would do in Unhumans: The Secret History of the Communist Revolution."
