Surveillance video shows the moment before a 26-year-old Brazilian woman was gunned down by masked hitmen. Adriana Silva dos Santos can be seen entering an Imperatriz convenience store on Monday, running for her life from two gunmen, according to video obtained by Daily Mail. She was fatally shot in the parking lot moments later.

Adriana sought refuge in a vehicle after fleeing the store when the two suspects, who have not yet been identified, allegedly shot her. The owner of the vehicle transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police are investigating the incident as drug-related, but an investigation is still underway. The killing occurred on Monday around 11:55 pm.



The victim, originally from the town of Governador Edison Lobao, served prison time for drug trafficking prior to her death, NeedtoKnow reported. Adriana recently moved to the Itamar Guara neighborhood of Imperatriz, which is located in northern Brazil.
