RFK Jr endorsed Trump and stated his focus going forward is to save American children. This will resonate with parents across the political aisle who are increasingly moving Right because of the Democrats' all-out attack on our most precious and vulnerable resource.
As a result, Democrats are going on a revenge tour, state by state. RFK Jr said he’d remove his name from the ballot in key states so as to not hurt Trump. However, Democrats won't let him go; they’re trying to force him to remain on the ballot in critical battleground states, though mercifully, in at least one case, it hasn't worked. Remember, the Harris / Biden White House denied Kennedy Secret Service protection until he got on the ballot in swing states, then when RFK Jr suspended his campaign, they took it away, but sued him to remain on the ballot in swing states. He can't win.
His reputation also has been blasted. Democrat strategist and consultant, James Carville says RFK Jr. should be locked away in a mental infirmary; “If Robert Kennedy lived in a more humane country, they would have him in a nice rubber room.”
A rubber room? Really? For leaving the Democratic party and trying to save America’s kids? Maybe Carville's the one who belongs in a straitjacket.
And yes, this is exclusively about children. As RFK himself said, “Suspending my candidacy is…heart-rending... But I am convinced that it is the best hope for ending…the chronic disease epidemic that is eroding our nation’s vitality from the inside... I feel a moral obligation to use this opportunity to save millions of American children, above all things.” He's right, largely because Democrats have shown over the past four years that they are in an undeclared war against healthy childhood.
Do I even need to rehearse why? Just look at the response to COVID; preemptively labeling children vectors of transmission and merchants of death. They were tortured with masks, spacing, lockdowns, and missed milestones.
Look at Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity (DEI) programs, which pit child against child, labeling some bullies and others oppressed, based on nothing but their skin color. Not to mention the fact that, in the name of CRT and DEI, academic excellence has been crushed.
Look at the attack on gender, encouraging minors to identify as the opposite sex and conceal it from parents. Hormone blockers and removal of sexual organs are government sponsored. There’s the assault on girl’s sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms.
Look at the open border, allowing fentanyl to flow through as well as Illegal immigrant children, who flood into and strain already broken Big Ed. Democrats make obesity aspirational, normalizing a clear health risk.
Approximately 27% of children in the United States have a chronic illness. I'd argue this number is misleading because studies are limited to cohorts with disabilities instead of a wide range of pediatric populations, but either way, shouldn't it concern us that over one quarter of American children are chronically ill? Maybe we should worry why that is? No wonder the Democrats are so terrified by RFK Jr's correct assessment that, “[W]e changed the national political conversation forever. Chronic disease…ha[s] moved to the center of politics.”
This is a weak spot for the Democrats, and they know it. Former Democrat candidate for president of the U.S. in 2020, Andrew Yang, countered, “I think Kamala Harris and the Democrats should immediately announce a panel to investigate the spike in chronic diseases and conditions among children these past years and invite different figures to participate. This is a big issue for millions and could easily tip the election.”
Sorry, Andrew, but it's clear that they don't want to solve it, because solving it requires acknowledging the hard truth that since 2020, the Left normalized jabbing kids frequently for a disease which had almost no chance of hurting them. Since, there’s been myocarditis, formerly seldom discussed, but now, a household name, not to mention autoimmune issues, period disruptions, and accelerated cancers. Simultaneously, the mental health industrial complex rakes it in. The cost of mental illness in America is $282 billion annually.
And why does this all matter? Because the number three issue for voters for this coming presidential election is healthcare (inflation is number one, immigration is number two). RFK Jr’s supporters, per Pew Research, were significantly younger than Trump’s or Harris’. Two-thirds were under 50 years of age, compared with 46% of Harris’ and 38% of Trump’s. That's not an insignificant reality; it shows that the kids know they've been damaged. And when the man who promises to avenge them drops out and endorses a Republican for the first time in his life, they will sit up and take notice. Only then, perhaps, will the Democrats' war on children end.
