GARRETT VENTRY: The 'bloodbath hoax' is just the start of the media's 2024 deceptions

The media wants to claim that Donald Trump is calling for political violence if he does not win the 2024 election.

The media wants to claim that Donald Trump is calling for political violence if he does not win the 2024 election.

It would not be a news cycle unless the mainstream media machine was brewing up a false narrative about President Trump. We have seen this over and over again since he walked down the escalator at Trump Tower in 2015.

If you are a Republican, your words get taken out of context, if you are a Democrat, they give you the benefit of the doubt. The media wants to claim that Donald Trump is calling for political violence if he does not win the 2024 election. However, he was clearly talking about the auto industry, not protests or violence.

The common theme from the media has been to twist and latch onto a sentence, rather than provide context, or simply state the entire statement from President Trump. Most infamously, we saw this in 2017 with the Charlottesville hoax. The mainstream media claimed President Trump called Neo-Nazis fine people. MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace responded that Trump had “given safe harbor to Nazis, to white supremacists.”

The New York Times spewed the blatantly propagandist headline: “Trump Gives White Supremacists Unequivocal Boost.” The media ran out of context remarks where President Trump stated there were “very fine people on both sides.”

What they failed to mention: he was talking about individuals who were protesting statues being removed. Direct quote from Trump: “You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

Once more, what did Trump actually say about neo-Nazi’s during the same press conference? He condemned them: “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

The media also pushed false and disproven smears of Russia collusion dating back to his first run for the U.S. presidency. Political opportunists at the Department of Justice used erroneous information to target Trump during his 2016 campaign.

Only 19 minutes after he was sworn into office, The Washington Post reported that the campaign to impeach President Trump had begun. The entire basis for claims of Trump being in cahoots with Russia was based on a faulty dossier, paid for by his political opponents and then weaponized by federal agencies to delegitimize the duly elected 45th commander-in-chief.

This takes us to recent comments by President Trump: "Let me tell you something China. If you're listening, President Xi and you and I are friends, but he understands the way I deal, those big monster car manufacturing plants that you're building in Mexico right now, and you think you're going to get that, you're going to not hire Americans, and you're going to sell the cars to us.

"Now, we're going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you're not going to be able to sell those guys if I get elected. Now, if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole – that's going to be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country. That'll be the least of it, but they're not going to sell those cars."

The media ran with the narrative that Trump was calling for political violence if he did not win the 2024 election. Headlines from Politico, Reuters, CNN, and NBC all echoed the false claims that President Trump was calling for political violence. Funny enough, mainstream media reporters have used the word bloodbath to describe elections or political fights just href="https://x.com/tomselliott/status/1769455728941547695?s=20" target="_blank">recently. Politico said there is a “bloodbath at the RNC.” The Arizona Central had a headline stating “Let the bloodbath begin” when describing an upcoming primary race. The New York Times had a headline that stated “A Biden Blood Bath?” If you read President Trump’s actual comments, it is clear he was talking about the auto industry.

If Joe Biden is re-elected, it will be a bloodbath for our entire country. Figuratively speaking. The American people have faced a “bloodbath” with the wide open border. Dangerous terrorists are crossing, unvetted. Drugs such as fentanyl are pouring across, killing our young people. The economy has been a bloodbath for the American people, we still have high inflation, gas prices, and mortgage rates. Americans can not afford another four years of Joe Biden’s policies. Donald Trump will get the job done and save the American economy from four more years of Joe Biden’s bloodbath.
