He is set to be sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on September 22 on charges of sexual penetration with a living animal and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
According to the Daily Mail, the act of bovine beastiality took place on June 12, 2022 at a farm in Burton, a small town near Christchurch in Dorset county. In the dead of night, Brown snuck onto the property and entered the cows' enclosure where he proceeded to have sex with the calf. A DNA sample later confirmed that Brown had, in fact, penetrated the animal.
The 25-year-old was caught on security cameras set up by the farmers, who quickly rushed out to apprehend him when they saw what he was up to.
Prosecutor Charles Nightingale explained that Brown had been known to the farmers "since he was a child," because "members of his family used to be employed by the farm."
Perhaps unsurprisingly, they have requested that he never return to the estate, or come "anywhere near it."
The magistrate of the Bournemouth court told Brown, who has no prior criminal history, that the case was being moved to crown court "because the offences are so serious it is possible you need greater punishment than we can give." He hinted that Brown could face jail time.Under British law, those found guilty of sexually penetrating an animal can be sentenced to up to two years behind bars. His second charge could land him up to an additional six years.
