Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday signed a bill stripping Disney World of its special tax and administrative status.
As previously reported by Human Events News, the Florida house on Thursday passed the bill just a day after the Florida Senate voted 23 to 16 to dissolve Disney’s self-governing status granted by the state over 50 years ago.
The Reedy Creek Improvement District, a special administrative unit under Disney control will no longer exist under the measure, Just the News reports.
