A woman who accused Andrew “Love Gov” Cuomo of groping her in the Executive Mansion last year filed a criminal complaint with the Albany County sheriff’s department.

The victim who filed the complaint was a former Cuomo aide.

The complaint increases the potential for the governor to face criminal charges for his actions, though charges are not guaranteed.

The Albany County district attorney David Soares is one of five prosecutors who have indicated that their offices are investigating Cuomo’s allegations following the attorney general’s report, according to the New York Times.

Brian Premo, the victim’s lawyer, confirmed that his client had filed the complaint with the sheriff’s office.

She had previously told investigators that Cuomo had made inappropriate advances toward her since 2019, kissing and hugging her in an uncomfortable manner. His advances reached an all-time high last November when he reached under her blouse and touched her inappropriately, she told investigators.

“At that moment it was so quick and he didn’t say anything and I just remember thinking to myself, oh, my God, and I remember stopping and him not saying anything and I remember I walked out and he didn’t say anything and I didn’t say anything,” she told investigators.

She didn’t immediately report what happened because she was scared of losing her job, which she described as an “opportunity of a lifetime.”
