According to New Jersey health officials, 49 fully vaccinated individuals in the state have died from COVID-19 through July 12.
Over half the patients who died had at least one underlying medical condition, according to New Jersey Department of Health spokesperson Donna Lausner, per CharlieKirk.com.
Of the 27 people who had underlying conditions, 17 of them had cardiovascular disease, seven had diabetes and nine had cancer or other immunocompromised conditions.
Five had chronic lung conditions, three had chronic kidney disease, one had chronic liver disease and five others had “other chronic diseases” listed.
All of the deaths were people over the age of 50, with 3 of them over the age of 80.
