In what seems to be a revival of the childhood game “follow-the-leader,” Facebook will no longer remove posts claiming COVID-19 was manufactured in a lab - thanks to team-left.
Of course, now that the mainstream media are admitting that there is, perhaps, evidence to support a potential leak from a lab in Wuhan, Big Tech is following suit.
Facebook’s policy fix arrives as support explodes in Washington for a deeper investigation into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. This all comes after the Wall Street Journal reported that three scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were hospitalized in late 2019 with symptoms awfully similar to the virus, per CharlieKirk.com.
In February, Facebook announced that it had expanded its list of misleading health claims that would be censored from the platform. These included the assertion that “COVID-19 is man-made or manufactured.”
“In light of ongoing investigations into the origin of COVID-19 and in consultation with public health experts, we will no longer remove the claim that COVID-19 is man-made from our apps,” a Facebook spokesperson said in an emailed statement. “We’re continuing to work with health experts to keep pace with the evolving nature of the pandemic and regularly update our policies as new facts and trends emerge.”
Facebook is making it crystal clear that its platform is essentially an arm of the democratic party. For months, President Trump supported the idea that the virus escaped from a lab in Wuhan. But it wasn’t until bandwagon Biden hopped on board that the platform changed their narrative.
On Wednesday, Biden said he ordered the intelligence community to “redouble” efforts on finding the virus’ origin and report back in 90 days. He added that the intelligence community is split between two theories, so the review will examine “whether it emerged from human contact with an infected animal or from a laboratory accident.”
The fact is that President Trump, using the information available to him as President, came to a reasonable conclusion regarding the origin of the virus. Whether because of Trump derangement syndrome, the fact that he is a republican, or that it didn't fit their current talking points, or a combination of those factors, the mainstream media saw fit to condemn that position as 'racist'. Now, of course, they follow their leader, the democratic party.
