If you aren’t convinced that Meghan Markle is the Duchess of Manipulation, this story is sure to be the cherry on top.

Prince Harry revealed this week his wife said she was going to commit suicide but didn’t because she didn’t want him to lose “another woman” in his life, referring to the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

The comment received troves of backlash online, many highlighting the apparent weakness of the couple’s relationship and Meghan’s manipulative tactics, especially after Harry’s recent estrangement from the royal family.

“This comment will change a lot of minds on Meghan. It is deranged language that hints at emotional abuse and manipulation,” Charlie Peters said, per the Daily Wire

“Took him away from his family, isolated him from work and friends, and topped it off by claiming that his sadness is the only thing that prevented her suicide. Deeply toxic,” he added. “Come back to us, son of England. All will be forgiven. We miss the old Harry and would cheer his return.”

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec also shared his thoughts in a tweet.

“Constant emotional manipulation,” he wrote. “Recognize the signs.”

Harry revealed the creepy manipulation in a documentary series with Oprah Winfrey, which aired on Friday.

“The thing that stopped her from seeing it through was how unfair it would be on me after everything that had happened to my mum and to now be put in a position of losing another woman in my life, with a baby inside of her. Our baby,” he said.

“The scariest thing for her was her clarity of thought,” he added. “She hadn’t ‘lost it.’ She wasn’t crazy. She wasn’t self-medicating, be it through pills or through alcohol. She was absolutely sober. She was completely sane. Yet in the quiet of night, these thoughts woke her up.”

Harry never asked his family for help because he believed they wouldn’t help anyway.

“That was one of the biggest reasons to leave, feeling trapped and feeling controlled through fear, both by the media and by the system itself, which never encouraged the talking about this kind of trauma,” he said. “Certainly now I will never be bullied into silence.”
