As Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive health is increasingly called into question, his would-be successor Kamala Harris expressed her frustration about the situation they created at the southern border, even going so far as to blame President Trump.

In a Wednesday CBS interview, Harris said the current administration did not have enough time to fix the situation - even though they are the ones that ultimately created it.

“Well, we do what we need to do to actually reconstruct the systems that are about processing these cases, and that is taking some time. And look, we’ve been in office less than 100 days. We are addressing it. We are dealing with it, but it’s going to take some time, and are we frustrated? Are you frustrated? Yes, we are,” Harris said.

She blamed the Trump administration for the number of children in Border Patrol custody, despite reports that Biden blatantly ignored all warnings given to him, including briefings from senior Customs and Border Protection officials.

“There was a system in place previously, before the last administration, to allow us to process these kids under their country of origin. That was dismantled. We have to reconstruct it,” Harris said.

While Harris did not call the situation what it is, a crisis, she did refer to it as a “huge problem,” something no one in the Biden administration has admitted.

“It’s a huge problem. I’m not going to pretend it’s not. It’s a huge problem. Are we looking at overcrowding at the border in particular with these kids? Yes. Should these kids be in the custody of HHS, the Health and Human Services, instead of Border Patrol? Yes. Should we be processing these cases faster? Yes. This is, however, not going to be solved overnight,” she said.

Even though this entire crisis happened on their watch, the Biden administration continuously refuses not only to acknowledge the severity, but more importantly to take responsibility.

How long can this go on before they take control of the mess they created?
