Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is really doing great.

Her pre-announcement messaging to date is flawless and she is considered one of the most honest, respected and accessible candidates in recent history -- oh wait ??? April Fools!!!!

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Last week, Hillary???s Mob was intimidating reporters into not using certain disparaging phrases for fear that this may slow the coronation of Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee for President in 2016.

This week brings two serious problems for Team Clinton ??? her iPad and the polls.

Hillary???s Secret iPad

The AP reports ???Hillary Rodham Clinton e-mailed her staff on an iPad as well as a BlackBerry while secretary of state, despite her explanation she exclusively used a personal e-mail address on a homebrew server so that she could carry a single device, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.???

Let???s see how Hillary???s Mob wiggles out of this one.

The State Department released e-mails from Clinton and it appears that her adviser Huma Abedin sent an official message to Clinton???s personal e-mail account. Clinton responded from her iPad.

Remember, Clinton said at her disastrous press conference that it would have been wise ???to have used two devices.??? She claimed she was only carrying around a Blackberry and using one device for convenience. Maybe we should expect a Clintonian ??? ???Well, it depends on what the meaning of the word ???device??? is.???

Lying at a press conference is not very presidential and a disqualifier for the presidency.

Hillary???s Falling Poll Numbers

And it looks like Hillary???s e-mail scandal is taking a toll on her poll numbers.

A March 31, 2015 released Quinnipiac poll of swing states indicates that Hillary loses to Jeb Bush in Florida, Senator Rand Paul in Pennsylvania but she wins Ohio. This is a stunning reversal from previous polls with her trouncing all Republicans in a general election.

The results of the poll contain one very troubling tidbit for Hillary ??? ???in no state do voters say she's honest and trustworthy.???

The big take away from this one poll is that the inevitability of Hillary Clinton???s coronation as the Democrat nominee, then anointed president is in doubt.

Rand on Deck

In baseball, the guy waiting to hit is on deck. Senator Rand Paul is in the on deck circle waiting his turn to announce for President and his announcement is going to be a barnstorming affair with rallies in all the early primary states.

The Washington Times reports that Sen. Paul will start on April 7 in with five events in Kentucky. The next day he goes to the first in the nation primary state of New Hampshire. On April 9 he heads to South Carolina to cheer on the crowd aboard the U.S. Yorktown. Then off to Iowa the next day with his closing event in Nevada.

Five days and five states should be tiring, yet exhilarating for those awaiting the long expected announcement.

Marco in the Hole

After Senator Paul announces, it is expected that the third Senator to get in the race will announce in Miami.

Politico reports that Senator Marco Rubio has confirmed that he will announce something on Monday, April 13 at Miami???s Freedom Tower. It is most likely that this announcement is for President, and not for re-election to his Senate seat.

Jeb Strikes Out on NSA Spying

Brietbart reports that Jeb Bush on the Hugh Hewitt program said that President Obama should defend NSA spying on American citizens.

Bush argued ???I???ve always been nervous about the attacks on the NSA, and somehow that we???re losing our freedoms by keeping the homeland safe.??? The elites never give any credence to the idea that the government needs a warrant to get information about Americans.

The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution states ???The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.??? It would be nice if Jeb would mention the Bill of Rights when discussing these issues.

Of course, one should expect that Bush would defend the program that his brother set up. Libertarian leaning voters should listen closely to Jeb Bush to see if he has any understanding that privacy is a natural right and that the government has no right to breach that natural right of privacy without a warrant based on probable cause.

Maybe today is a good day to go to a friend and say ???I absolutely trust Hillary Clinton to be the next President of the United States. She is the most unifying, humble, grounded, and transparent candidate in our lifetime.??? Try not to giggle. Pause for a few seconds and then point to a calendar.
