A video posted yesterday by Ron Paul's New Hampshire supporters and flagged by McKay Coppins of the Daily Beast portrays Jon Huntsman as a literal Manchurian candidate from China because, it seems, he adopted a daughter from China who was abandoned in a market.
While candidates cannot control what their supporters say or do, such incidents have the potential to hurt Paul in light of the newsletters and books written under his name that contained racist and conspiratorial passages.
Many who may be inclined to support Paul have been turned off by his supporters and have grave concerns about how he would potentially fare in a general election matchup.
