Remember Ronald Reagan’s sage adage on the duration of a government program? How it’s the closest thing we will ever see to eternal life here on earth? Yeah, well, how about ObamaCare? That would take one serious and coordinated effort to repeal it, no? Roy Blunt thinks it’s possible, noting that the more people learn about ObamaCare, the more they detest the government overhaul.
“[Americans are] going to see that it increases costs, and actually, I think ultimately restricts people’s access to health care.”
“Whether it can happen in the next two years or not, I don’t know. There are so many things we can do to make this system more competitive, more transparent.”
House Republicans will probably repeal ObamaCare in the New Year, as early as March. From there, it moves to the Senate where repeal is unlikely.
